Nandita Mukherjee - Artist & Educator

Born in 1980 in West Bengal and currently based in Dehradun, India, Nandita Mukherjee’s artistic journey began early, shaped by the influence of her mother and a sustained engagement with visual practice. Over the past two decades, her work has developed through an ongoing exploration of diverse painting mediums, gradually evolving into a focused and material-driven approach. Her works are shaped through a balance of discipline and openness, where material, gesture, and time interact to form a distinct visual language.

Alongside her practice, she has been engaged in art education for over 12 years, contributing to one of India’s leading educational institutions.
